a beat-tape by lucky monkey, built from the archive of damien elisa. it began on an mpc500, chopping fragments of elisa's recordings held by the mauritian labels babani and zanana into short instrumental pieces. across eighteen tracks his melodies and harmonies stay present while lucky monkey rebuilds them into what he calls moribeats · mauritian sample-infused beats.
